My last weeks have been very challenging with all the medical procedures and hospital visits and doctors’ appointments. I am looking forward to celebrating my 45th anniversary as a priest on November 20, wherever I may be, with over half of my priesthood at Nativity BVM. I’ve just finished four grueling rounds of chemotherapy and the doctors have told me that now I am just to rest and do nothing. At the end of next week, I will be having a CT scan to get formal results of the therapy. Again, I am most grateful for the priests that are coming in to celebrate Mass for me and parish needs. Thanks to everyone for their prayers and thoughts and encouragement. God loves us and He loves us most when we are challenged.
