Nativity Parish Observing Lent
Lent is a time of serious preparation for the great celebration of Easter. During this holy season, we examine ourselves and work towards self-improvement and greater love of neighbor by prayer, fasting and penance.
Spiritual preparation includes First Reconciliation for the First Communion candidates, Stations of the Cross on Wednesdays and Good Friday, Communal penance services, and individual confessions. Special adult education programs are held with a Lenten theme. Socially, there is the fish fry and pierogi making, along with the after Mass socializing that are a hallmark of our parish. Let’s not forget the thrice yearly Altar and Rosary Bake Sale on Palm Sunday weekend.

Rebirth through the blood of Jesus and our baptism is central to the season of Lent and Easter. Here our baptismal font is highlighted in anticipation of the Easter Vigil.
